I bought this for when I go running in the morning. As a female runner I'm always looking for ways to stay safe but there aren't many good options out there. I have Mace, a couple of knives, an alarm, and another ring (which is way too bulky and not as attractive as this ring), but I prefer to not have to hold anything extra with me on runs. Defender Ring, and particularly the Pearl, caught my attention because it's not only a self defense ring but it's also beautiful and discreet. It fits comfortably on my finger that I barely know I'm wearing it, and is pretty easy to unsheathe the little blade. It's given me a boost of confidence on my runs that I can defend myself if I need to.

I got this ring for my daughter..She is in college and has to walk a lot..The ring is nice quality and looks discreet..Unscrew the pearl and the sharp pointed tip is another story..Looks like it will do some damage if needed to be used. My daughter feels safer wearing this defense ring as I feel at ease knowing she has this ring with her all the time.
